Disabled downloads only block saving the actual video file to your device. Favoriting within the app almost always still works, since TikTok is just storing a reference, not a file.
Why your Favorites tab becomes unusable
- No search. There's no way to type "pasta" or "apartment tour" and filter your saves. You're stuck scrolling a grid.
