How to Find Your Saved TikToks (Including Hidden Ones)
Saved TikToks don't go far, but TikTok's interface moves things around enough that people lose them regularly. Here's where Favorites actually lives, why saves seem to vanish, and what to do when TikTok gives you no way to search through them.
Short answer: Your saved TikToks are in Favorites. Tap your profile, then the bookmark icon in the row above your videos. If you organized saves into collections, they're in those folders. Liked videos live on a separate tab. Like Instagram, TikTok has no search inside Favorites.
Where are my saved TikTok videos?
TikTok calls saved videos "Favorites," and they live on your profile page. Here's how to get there:
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the app.
- Look at the row of icons above your video grid. You'll see tabs for videos, reposts, likes, and favorites.
- Tap the bookmark icon (Favorites tab).
- Your saved TikToks appear here in a grid, newest first.
If you created collections to organize your saves, you'll see folder thumbnails at the top of the Favorites grid. Tap a folder to see what's inside. Videos you saved without assigning to a collection stay in the main grid below the folders.
What is the difference between liked and saved on TikTok?
This is the most common reason people can't find a TikTok they "saved." Likes and saves go to completely different places, and the icons are easy to confuse when you're tapping quickly.
- Heart icon (like): Goes to your Likes tab on your profile. Visible to other users by default (you can make it private in settings). Sorted newest first with no search.
- Bookmark icon (save/favorite): Goes to your Favorites tab. Private, only you can see it. Sorted newest first with no search.
If you can't find a TikTok in Favorites, check your Likes tab. There's a decent chance you tapped the heart instead of the bookmark.
Why can't I find TikToks I saved?
Five things consistently explain a missing TikTok save:
- Wrong account. If you use multiple TikTok accounts, confirm you're logged into the one where you did the saving. Saves don't transfer between accounts.
- You liked it, not saved it. Check the Likes tab: Profile → heart icon.
- It's in a collection. If you tapped "Add to collection" when saving, it's not in the main Favorites grid. Open the collection folder.
- The creator deleted it. TikTok saves are links to original posts. If the creator removes the video, your save disappears with it.
- It's buried. No search inside Favorites means scrolling through everything if you have more than a few dozen saves.
How do I find TikToks I saved in a collection?
Open your Favorites tab (Profile → bookmark icon). At the top of the screen, you'll see any collections you've created displayed as labeled thumbnail cards. Tap the collection you want to browse.
If you don't see any collection cards, you haven't made collections. All your saves are in the flat grid below.
TikTok collections work like Instagram's: you assign each video to a folder when saving it. After the fact, there's no bulk-organize option. This makes them useful only if you're disciplined about filing each save in the moment.
Can you search saved TikToks?
No. TikTok's Favorites tab has no search as of 2026. You can browse by collection if you've created them, or scroll the flat grid. That's it.
For people who save a lot of TikToks (fitness routines, recipes, language learning clips), this is a real problem. The only way to find a specific video is to remember which collection you put it in, or scroll until you spot the thumbnail.
The practical alternative is saving via the share sheet to an app that indexes content. When you share a TikTok to TapFold, it's transcribed, tagged, and added to a searchable library. You can search "sourdough" or "kettlebell swing" and surface the right video immediately.

How to save TikToks so you can find them later
Two options that actually work for retrieval:
- Create TikTok collections by topic. Make a "Recipes" folder, a "Workouts" folder, whatever fits your saves. Every time you tap the bookmark, pick the right collection immediately. This takes more discipline but makes browsing by category possible.
- Share to a save library. Tap the share arrow on any TikTok, then share to TapFold. The video is indexed so you can search it by keyword later. No folders needed, and saves survive if the original video gets deleted.

The simplest fix
TikTok's bookmark works for short-term reminders. For anything you'll want to find in a week or a month, share it to a library with search. One tap now saves you from scrolling later.

Where are my saved TikTok videos?
Your saved TikToks are in Favorites: tap your profile (bottom-right), then tap the bookmark icon in the row above your video grid. If you sorted them into collections, look inside those folders. The main Favorites grid shows saves you haven't organized.
Why can't I find TikToks I saved?
Four common causes: you're logged into a different TikTok account, you liked the video instead of saving it (likes and saves are separate), you saved it into a collection and it's not in the main grid, or the creator deleted the video. Check each of these before assuming the save is lost.
What is the difference between liked and saved on TikTok?
Liked videos (heart icon) go to Profile, then the heart tab, visible to others by default. Saved videos (bookmark icon) go to Favorites, private, only you can see them. They're stored in completely separate places and have no overlap.
How do I find TikToks I saved in a collection?
Open Favorites (Profile → bookmark icon), then look for your collection folders listed at the top. Tap a folder to see only the saves inside it. If you don't see folders, you haven't made collections yet and everything is in the main Favorites grid.
